Hautnah is a German word meaning close to the skin.
Our signature merino bralette was created to embody that feeling — intimate, natural, and quietly luxurious.
Hand-knit in Bellingham, Washington from 100% superfine intimately soft merino, Hautnah is unlined and unadjusted—shaped to honor the body rather than reshape it. Designed to offer gentle warmth and natural coverage, it allows the breasts to move freely, supporting the body as it is, not as it’s told to be.
It is not lingerie for performance.
It is a garment for presence.

My German background gave me the word Hautnah — close to the skin — and with it, the beginning of this story.
